Good day,
I spoke to my domestic worker about problems that we might experience at where we work - salary cuts or maybe even dismissals but told her that if it happens I will speak to her. I told if she want to look for other work so long, she is welcome to so. Now she has not shown up for work for 2 days as according to her I gave her notice. Never, never did I tell her that she does not have work or told her that she is no longer employed.

She works 3 days a week, gets paid R 2000 which is over and above what she should get. Works flexi hours, as she only comes in at 7:30 and leaves between 14:00 and 15:30.

She has not shown up for 2 days and wants to go to the CCMA because I did not pay her notice money - but it never came out of my mouth that she must leave our employment.
