"Regarding a disciplinary hearing"

After a fair disciplinary hearing the chair person ask the employee to come back the next day at a soecific time to get his verdict and a copy of the hearing papers.The charges was very serious and therefore the chair person had to review all the charges and eviidence against the employee.He never returned the next day and ignore all the phone calls when we tried to get hold of him.After 4 days he phoned one of the other employees to get some of his tools because he needs them to do a job.We are a security firm,what rights do we have as a employer regarding this incident?
