"Sunday Pay for Shift Workers"

We are an NGO providing 24 hour residential for orphaned and vulnerable children from 2 to 10 years.

We want to know if we are correct. We understand that the Sunday pay for shift workers whose shift includes a Sunday is time and half.

What we want to know is are we correct in working the payment as follows:

1. One day is part of their Basic Salary - Is this correct?
2. We pay only for the additional half a day - Is this correct?
