"Maternity Leave"

My domestic worker told me she is pregnant, she will be working for me for about 2 years now and we have not registered her with UIF. She works for me 2 days a week. Please advise what is my responsibility towards her to pay for 3-4 months maternity leave.

Kind regards

You will need to register her for UIF as soon as possible. Also you will have to pay for all the previous months that hasn't been paid before her going on maternity leave in order for her to be able to claim
