"Permanent Disability without Medical Aid"

I have been recently medically boarded ( August 2016 ). I was Temporarily Boarded February 2016. During the 6th month period I was told I would receive 75% of my pensionable Earnings as well as benefits ( Pension and Medical Aid). Discussing with my Manager, HR as well as the Employers Benefits Team I was directed to the company's Resident Medical Sister. I mentioned to her that I was extremely concerned and she asked me to call her telephonically which I did. During the discussion she said we had one of the best disability procedures around and that 75% of salary + benefits ( Medical Aid and Pension ) Would be covered.

I went even further and sent emails to numerous people requesting information to make sure this was 100% correct. I finally got a reply that just said I would receive 75% of my Salary. I questioned this and was told they would work on it and get back to me.

So since February until August I had no idea what I would be paid or what benefits were included. When the time came for the insurance company to pay me from August I received no payment - My first payment was in around November. At this time I started emailing my employer as often as I could because my Nett Salary had been dropped by around 48%. After investigating this I discovered it was due to me now being responsible for medical aid. I have since been in contact with HR and tried all I can to get answers from them. In the beginning of April I went to the CCMA and lodged a Dispute and re4ceived a reply that I need to do Condonation because the dispute for unjust dismissal is older than 30 days, but I am still employed by the employer. Just paid by the insurance company.

Please help because I am sooooo confused and in such deep debt trouble that I have had to put my house on the market to keep my Medical Aid.
