"SALARY OFFER LESS THAN PREDECESSOR"
I am a Senior Manager in a public entity having been promoted internally. At time of appointment two years ago, I was offered a salary at an entry level of my position thus below median of the grade. This I raised with my former CEO mainly on the reasoning that it was far much lower than my predecessor was earning even though we happen to have same qualifications.
What are my rights? Can I demand to be given the salary my predecessor was earning? If so, can I ask to be paid retrospectively?
